GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the Milwaukee Brewers announced on Sunday that the organization’s top two prospects are on the move up to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
According to a post on social media by the Brewers, Jesus Made and Luis Pena, ranked by the MLB Pipeline as the No. 1 and No. 2 prospects within the Brewers’ farm system, are making the move from the Single-A Carolina Mudcats to the High-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

18-year-old Shortstop/Third baseman Jesus Made first signed with the Milwaukee Brewers as a free agent in January 2024. Made played on one of the Brewers Dominican Summer League teams in 2024, where he played in 51 games while batting for a .331 average, hitting 6 triples, 6 home runs, collecting 28 RBIs, and stealing 28 bases.
The Brewers assigned Made to the Single-A Carolina Mudcats in March 2025. Throughout the 2025 season with the Mudcats, Made has played in 83 games while batting for a .267 average, hitting 3 triples, 4 home runs, collecting 46 RBIs, and stealing 40 bases.
18-year-old Shortstop/Third baseman Luis Pena also first signed with the Brewers in January 2024. Pena played on the same Dominican Summer League team as Made in 2024, where he appeared in 44 games and finished the season with 6 triples, 1 home run, 36 RBIs, 39 stolen bases, and a batting average of .393.
Similar to Made, the Brewers assigned Pena to the Mudcats in March of 2025. In 71 games with the Mudcats, Pena has 6 triples, 6 home runs, 52 RBIs, 40 stolen bases, and a batting average of .307.

Both Made and Pena will continue to define their baseball careers together as they move up to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
