ALLOUEZ, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials with the Miracle League of Green Bay say their closing day of the 2025 season is fast approaching, with the season ending on Saturday.
According to a release from the Miracle League of Green Bay, the conclusion of the 2025 season on August 9 will wrap things up with a ceremony at 8:30, with games to follow the rest of the day.
Green Bay Country Club hosts Par 3 tournament for young golfers
The 8:30 ceremony and all of the games will be played at the Resch Miracle Field in Allouez’s Optimist Park. This season, officials say they had 213 players and 16 teams with 275 volunteers getting involved throughout the season, mostly as buddies for the players.
This year’s ceremony is said to have an Olympic theme, with all the teams carrying their respective team flags and marching onto the field. The ceremony will also take the time to honor the 12 players who are graduating.
Following the ceremony, the 19th season of the Miracle League of Green Bay will end with all teams playing in a one-inning game.

The Miracle League is described as a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for children with mental or physical challenges to play baseball in an organized league with real teams that feature major league look-alike uniforms.
