WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Several northeastern Wisconsin fire departments have been called to send water resources to Waukesha County, where officials say a 500-year flood is expected.
According to the Appleton Fire Department, they have deployed swift water resources to Waukesha County on Sunday afternoon. Other departments have been called to assist as well, including the Neenah Menasha Fire Rescue and Clayton Fire Rescue.

The Appleton Fire Department has deployed three swift water technicians as well as watercraft to support rescue and evacuation operations.
Much of southeastern Wisconsin has been drastically affected by flood waters since Saturday afternoon’s storms, with possibly more inclement weather on the way Sunday.
Officials with the Appleton Fire Department are reminding everyone to never walk, swim, or drive through floodwater.
