OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – A Saturday afternoon shooting on Oshkosh’s Franklin Street left one person injured and officers searching for a suspect.
Officers with the Oshkosh Police Department say the shooting happened around 1:50 p.m. on August 9 in the 600 block of Franklin Street.

Initial calls reported gunshots in the area of Central Street and West Irving Avenue. Officers canvassed the area and found a 20-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound.
The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.
Detectives are actively investigating the shooting, saying it appears to have been an isolated incident between the two people.
