The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Very tricky forecast today in terms of telling you when we will see rain and storms today and where exactly we will see it as model guidance has been very poor this morning. Forecasting scattered showers and storms at times today, but we are not looking at a complete washout.
The main concern today is heavy rain potential. Rainfall totals could push 1-2″, especially if you see multiple heavy downpours over one location. Severe threat remains low , but storms could produce gusty winds and small hail.
A FLOOD WATCH continues for Green Lake, Marquette, Fond Du Lac and Sheboygan counties until 7am Monday.
Otherwise, warm and muggy today with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Tonight, a few showers and storms with some patchy fog late. Lows will fall into the middle and upper 60s.
Monday will be a drier day, but will likely have to contend with a few isolated showers and storms at times. Highs will stay in the low to mid 80s.
Tuesday, there is a chance for a morning shower or storm lakeside, but watching for a cold front to bring scattered showers and storms for Tuesday late afternoon and evening. Highs in the low to mid 80s.
We finally get into a quiet stretch of weather Wednesday through much of Friday.
