MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – The Multicultural Coalition, Inc. is kicking off its third annual back-to-school drive, asking the community to donate school supplies or funds to help kids in Calumet, Outagamie, and Winnebago counties feel prepared and confident on the first day of school.
Last year, the nonprofit provided more than 200 backpacks filled with supplies to local students. Organizers say having the right tools can easy anxiety, boost confidence, and help kids success academically.
Returning to school is oftentimes anxiety-producing for kids and this is one way we can help reduce the anxiety for children and their families.
