DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – City officials in De Pere are celebrating the start of construction for a TownePlace Suites by Marriott at the former Shopko site, marking a key step in revitalizing the high-profile location.
The five-story, 90-room hotel will operate under Marriott’s TownePlace Suites brand, serving both long-term and short-term lodging needs for residents and visitors. Officials say the project will support economic growth, boost tourism, and energize the downtown district.
