MANITOWOC, Wis. (WFRV) – The driver of a vehicle was pronounced dead on Tuesday after reportedly crashing into a building in Manitowoc, officers say.
According to the Manitowoc Police Department, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash just before 5 p.m. on August 12 in the area of South 26th Street and Franklin Street.

Officers say the vehicle crashed into a building in the area, and the driver was pronounced dead. They were the only person in the vehicle.
The Manitowoc Fire Department and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
