LEDGEVIEW, Wis. (WFRV) – Late on Wednesday night, firefighters from Lawrence and Ledgeview responded to a house fire on the 3600 block of Agatha Christie Street.
Local 5’s Ellie Davis spoke to neighbor Rich Glodowski, who said the aftermath of the fire was devastating.

“At a quarter to nine last night, I came out to close my garage door and I saw a reflection in the neighborhood. Bright orange, and popping… I could see the entire garage was on fire,” Glodowski said.
Glowdowski called 911 and he and his wife met the family outside. He said that everyone involved made it out of the flames safely, including all of the pets.
The damage from the fire extended onto the neighboring properties, and the morning sun revealed melted siding on both houses.
“There was some damage to my home, but that’s no big deal; we can get that taken care of,” Glodowski said.
The community will rally behind the family as they navigate this tragedy.
“Our grandkids and their kids play together, we know each other, everybody knows each other in the neighborhood and we are all going to rally together to help our neighbor,” Glodowski said.
The owner of the home told Local 5 that his family lost everything in the fire.
