MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – An American video game holding company with a facility in Wisconsin is planning to lay off 39 workers beginning Sept. 1.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, ZeniMax Media Inc. will reduce staff at its Madison facility, also known as Roundhouse Studios.

The layoffs are expected to be permanent, though the company noted the entire workplace will not be shutting down.
Employees were notified of the layoffs on July 2, 2025. The letter states that bumping rights are not available.
