DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – Kringle for a Cause is back at Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe in De Pere, this time to help a local family recover from tragedy.
The chocolate caramel churro kringle returned this week to raise money for the Losey family, who lost everything in a house fire last week.

Several students who attend high school with the Losey children reached out to Uncle Mike’s asking if there was a way to support the family. The bakery said yes without hesitation.

“You have to support your community. These people suffered a horrible loss, and my heart just breaks for them. So we need to help them out any way we can — little or big — whatever we can do, we’re going to help,” said Mary Vande Walle, owner of Uncle Mike’s.
The specialty kringle will be available through Aug. 24, exclusively at the De Pere location.
