DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – The inaugural Resident and Family Summer Picnic was held Thursday in De Pere, bringing together families and residents at Angels Touch Assisted Living.
The facility, which supports people and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, celebrated with live music, food, a bouncy house, raffle baskets, and more.
“A lot of fundraising goes into this. We do two events each year — a rummage sale at the beginning of summer, and now this is our first annual picnic,” said Carly Aures Lulloff, Angels Touch Assisted Living activity coordinator.
Organizers hope to make the picnic a yearly tradition in the years to come.
