GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Thursday’s joint practice with the Seattle Seahawks was the final time that Green Bay Packers fans could see the players ride bikes down to Ray Nitschke Field, and it was filled with energy.
Fans were in abundance early, arriving at 9:30 a.m. to line up in hopes that a player would take their bike to practice one final time.
“Oh, it was amazing, seeing them all up in front walking past, getting some pictures and some signatures, it was great,” says Joshua Pritzl, a Seahawks fan from Oshkosh.
It was a chance for both teams to dial up and get ready for the game on Saturday.
“It’s really nice to see they got to participate and get involved with the community. It’s cool to see the kids’ stuff signed,” said Ayden Layne, a Seahawks fan from Madison.
Along with that, many fans were excited to see some of the stars that both teams have on their rosters, and even some familiar faces making a return to Green Bay.
“Yeah, and (Sam) Darnold, MVS (Marquez Valdes-Scantling), and (Cooper) Kupp, of course. It will be exciting to see them play,” says Packers fan Keith Apts from Fountain City.
It even rubbed off on the next generation of Packers fans as they made lifelong memories.
” I mean it seems pretty cool that the Packers let another team have to have some other training too,” says Aiden Frazier from De Pere.

The Packers host the Seattle Seahawks for their final preseason game on August 23 at 3 p.m.
The Packers then must cut the roster down to 53, and prepare for the season and home opener on September 7 against the Detroit Lions.
