BELLEVUE, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers and Green Bay Packaging Inc. continued their generous partnership yet again on Friday as the First Downs For Trees program brought another 350 trees to the community.
On Friday morning, representatives from both the Packers and Green Bay Packaging Inc. gathered at Josten Park in Bellevue for a ceremonial planting, celebrating the 15th successful year of the program.

The 350 donated trees from this year are expected to provide about $1.1 million in total lifetime benefits, as the donations will be spread across 15 communities across the Green Bay area and Brown County.
In total, the program has seen 7,544 trees donated since its debut in 2011, with about $35 million in estimated lifetime benefits, through reducing Carbon Dioxide, stormwater runoff and improving the air quality.
