FOUNTAIN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – Over 80 pounds of marijuana, a large quantity of meth, and other drugs were seized after authorities uncovered an indoor marijuana grow operation in southcentral Wisconsin during a search warrant that ended with two arrests.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, on August 19, its Drug Task Force executed a search warrant a a residential property in the Town of Fountain Prairie.

Deputies say the search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into the manufacturing and trafficking of controlled substances, specifically methamphetamine, cocaine, and MDMA.
The search reportedly uncovered an ‘elaborate indoor marijuana grow’ with over 70 plants in various stages of growth. Authorities also seized a large quantity of meth, psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine, and over 80 pounds of marijuana and THC products.
Two men, 43-year-old Aaron Huehne and 39-year-old Aleksandr Simonov, were arrested as a result of the investigation.

Both men were taken to the Columbia County Jail on the following charges:
- Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine
- Possession with intent to deliver psilocybin
- Possession with intent to deliver LSD
- Possession with intent to deliver prescription medications
- Manufacture/deliver THC
- Maintain a drug trafficking place
After an initial court appearance, both were released on a $10,000 signature bond.
