WATERTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) – A woman who was out for a walk in southcentral Wisconsin was left with serious injuries after being ‘viciously’ attacked by a pack of dogs.
Around 5:55 a.m. on August 23, officers with the Watertown Police Department say they responded to a 911 call reporting a woman being attacked by four dogs. It was noted that the attack happened near Milford Street and Cobblestone Way.

When officers arrived, they found the woman with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
While assisting the victim, officers say the four dogs charged toward them, leading to one officer shooting one of the dogs. The dog would later die.
The three remaining dogs were reportedly seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
