The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Good Morning! Get ready for our first extended taste of fall like air out there! A breezy northwest wind gusting to 26mph at times paired with increasing clouds will keep highs today in the middle to upper 60s, even cooler across the northwoods.
While most should stay dry today, a few spotty showers and isolated rumbles of thunder are possible around lunchtime but especially for the afternoon and early evening. Severe weather is NOT expected today, however heads up to those heading out on the water as a few waterspouts are possible on the bay and lake.
Tonight, very comfy sleeping weather with a few clouds and low temperatures falling to the upper 40s and low 50s, with mid 40s possible up north!
Monday is shaping up to be another nice, fall like day with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the middle and upper 60s to around 70. The NW wind will back off a touch but stay in the range of 10-15mph.
Temperatures will warm up a few degrees on Tuesday, likely getting into the upper 60s and low 70s under mostly sunny skies. Our break from Fall Like weather does come to an end Wednesday as forecast highs reach the middle to upper 70s.
A back door front will bring a rain chance late Wednesday night into Thursday. Looking ahead to Labor Day weekend, temperatures slightly below normal with a chance of rain right now on Saturday.
