There was definite fall feel to the air today, with a mix of sun and clouds, a stiff NW wind and highs in the 60s to around 70s.
Tonight will be a chilly one…lows will fall into the 40s and low 50s under a few clouds.
On Monday, expect a nice mixture of sunshine and clouds throughout the day with highs still remaining in the upper 60s to around 70s courtesy of that continuous NW wind.
The coldest night will move in Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as lows will fall into the mid to upper 40s, even some low 40s across the Northwoods.
Temperatures will start to head back closer to average on Tuesday but especially into Wednesday with mostly sunny skies with highs initially in the low 70s on Tuesday, but warming into the mid 70s Wednesday.
A back door cool front will drop in Wednesday and bring a chance for showers Wednesday night into Thursday morning. This will also reinforce the cooler air, bringing back highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Labor Day, as of now, is looking dry based on the latest forecast, but we will watch how things unfold throughout the week.
