The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Despite the fair weather clouds, it has been a nice pre Autumn day in northeast Wisconsin with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
As clouds lose their daytime heating and wind relaxes, that will bring in clear, calm and cool conditions overnight. Lows will bottom out in the mid to upper 40s!
You will need the sweatshirt first thing tomorrow with temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s, but under a mixture of sunshine and clouds, expect highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. That is still 5 to 10 degrees below average for late August.
Wednesday will be the warmest day of the work week, expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 70s. A cold front dropping in from the north will provide a chance for a shower or storm overnight Wednesday. Severe weather is not expected.
Besides an isolated shower early Thursday, expect a slow clearing of clouds, but our fall like feel to the air will return with highs back in the mid to upper 60s.
Looking ahead to Labor Day weekend, we should stay dry for the the three day stretch with temperatures in the middle to upper 70s.
