(WFRV) – A 91-year-old man who was last seen on August 21 was reportedly found dead three days later in northern Wisconsin.
According to the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office, 91-year-old Frank Wilson was found dead on August 24 around 11 p.m. in Ashland County, Wisconsin. Wilson was from Ironwood and was reportedly last seen on August 21 around 12 a.m.
Authorities across the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin searched for days, and on August 24, around 8 p.m., Wilson’s vehicle was found in Wisconsin near Morse.

Ashland County Sheriff’s Office search team and K9 reportedly found Wilson’s body. It was roughly two miles from his vehicle.
No foul play is suspected, authorities said.
Wilson reportedly had dementia and was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox.
