Wrightstown’s confined space team set up to investigate the situation before a crew was sent into the silo to extinguish any burning silage, keeping the fire from spreading anywhere else on the property.
Assisting fire departments were on the scene for nearly three hours, with firefighters from the Buchanan Fire and Rescue remaining on scene for about three and a half hours.
No other details are available at this time, and there is no official estimate on the damage/loss caused by the fire.
