WAUTOMA, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials are urging the community that there is no perceived threat at this time after skeletal human remains were found on a vacant lot in Wautoma on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a release from the Wautoma Police Department, officers were alerted to a vacant lot on Division Street shortly after noon on Tuesday.

A person at the scene told officers that they found skeletal human remains while mowing the property.
Officials say that the name of the individual will not be released at this time and that there is no indication of a threat to the community at this time.
