OCONTO COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has reported an additional nine cases of measles in Oconto County.
According to the DHS website, there are now 23 confirmed cases of measles in Oconto County, with two people hospitalized as a result.
The majority of cases (56.5%) are in individuals aged 5-17, with 30.4% of the infections in people 18 or older.
In addition, the data on the DHS website says that all 23 of the cases are among people who are not vaccinated.
At this time, Oconto is the only county in Wisconsin to have confirmed cases of measles.
