Labor holds the trend from the nice weekend with temperatures just under 80 degrees and mostly sunny skies, fortunately this will continue right into Tuesday for the first day of school.
Tuesday night takes a turn as showers begin and thunderstorms continue through most of Wednesday with temperatures dropping into the upper 60s. Thursday will continue to cool with temperatures in the upper 50s, but skies become partly sunny. Showers return on Friday with temperatures in the low 60s.
The weekend will slowly climb closer to 70 degrees once again with partly cloudy skies.
Clear skies tonight also give potential for a G3 geomagnetic storm which allows for the possibility of northern lights visible by the naked eye.
