GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers and Sargento are once again teaming up to fight hunger in Wisconsin as the Touchdowns for Hunger program returns for its 23rd season.
According to a press release, for ever touchdown the Packers score during the regular season, Sargento will donate $2,000 to help feed families in need. Donations will be split between Paul’s Pantry in Green Bay and Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee.

Last season, the Packers score 53 touchdowns, resulting in $106,000 in donations. Since launching in 2003, the program has raised more than $1.9 million, helping provide over one million means to Wisconsin families.
“As a family-owner company, we understand the importance of giving back to our community,” said Sargento Chairman and CEO Louie Gentine. “Touchdowns for Hunger is our way to raise awareness of food insecurity in our home state while at the same time, raising funds for two great non-profit organizations rooting for our home team.”
