GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – You may not even know what you’re going to do tomorrow, let alone in 2050, but hundreds of Green Bay area residents have spent the last year working to create plans to guide the city’s growth in the next quarter-century.
On Wednesday night, the City of Green Bay hosted the Go Big Green Bay 2050 Comprehensive Plan Open House, a special event to preview the city’s draft comprehensive plan which has been built upon by residents through numerous workshops and sessions.
This plan is designed to guide the city’s growth in multiple ways:
- Land use
- Transportation
- Housing
- Economic development
- Community facilities
The open house featured displays of the 10 neighborhood districts, with attendees invited to explore the plans and enjoy some fun child-friendly activities.
Feedback on the plan can be provided here.
