LAWRENCE, Wis. (WFRV) – A massive development project along Interstate 41 is officially underway as officials held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Lawrence Town Center.
The project, which is expected to take roughly a decade, costs about $215 million, most of it being covered by private funding.

Based out of Kaukauna, Boardwalk Development Company is the leader for the project, which could bring over 150 homes, most of which would be single-family houses.

The project is about 153 acres between I-41, Freedom Road and Williams Grant Drive.
