MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – We see them quite often on the roads, especially on highways, but how often is it that you spot four people driving one down a random street mid-day?
The Madison Police Department reported that officers were sent to the 500 block of West Main Street for a report that four men were driving a crane in the middle of a road around 12:24 p.m.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the crane simply abandoned in the middle of the street, with the keys still inside.
According to the release, officers arranged for the runaway crane to be towed to a safe location.
