MARINETTE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 15-year-old boy has died following an ATV crash in Marinette over Labor Day weekend.
According to the Marinette Police Department, the crash happened shortly before midnight on Friday, Aug. 29, near Parsek Street and Angwall Drive.
Two young adults seriously injured in Wisconsin motorcycle crash
A preliminary investigation found the ATV was traveling east on Parsek Street when it lost control, ejecting the 15-year-old rider. Authorities said the boy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
He was transported to a trauma center in Green Bay, where he died from his injuries on Monday, Sept. 1.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Marinette Police Department, and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating.
