JANESVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 59-year-old Wisconsin man is now in custody after being arrested for several charges, including his 12th OWI, following a pursuit Tuesday night.
According to a release from the Janesville Police Department, officers attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle at 11:40 p.m., with the driver choosing to flee the scene at a high rate of speed.
Stop sticks were said to be successfully deployed and a pursuit invention technique (PIT maneuver) was used to bring the pursuit to an end.

The driver of the vehicle, 59-year-old Bradley Skelly from Janesville, was found to have 11 prior OWI convictions and was arrested on the following potential charges:
- OWI-12 Offense
- Reckless Driving
- Vehicle Operator Fleeing or Eluding
- Resisting an Officer Causing Injury
- Probation Hold
- Numerous Traffic Citations
Police say a search warrant was applied for and granted for a test of Skelly’s blood, with those results now pending.
