SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in Sheboygan say that two people are displaced after a fire broke out at a home and caused an estimated $75,000 in damages.
According to a release, the Sheboygan Fire Department received a report of a fire at 10:12 a.m. on Thursday in the 2300 block of South 16th Street, and the first crew arrived within three minutes.
A single-family home had heavy smoke and flames from the second floor, and a hoseline was deployed to knock the fire down from the outside to enable interior suppression efforts.

Numerous additional crews arrived to help in suppression efforts and confirmed that all residents of the home had been evacuated. Damage to the first floor was minimized due to the quick response.

Nobody was injured in the fire; however, two people are reportedly displaced. The fire caused about $75,000 in estimated damages, and officials are investigating the cause.
A total of nine Sheboygan Fire Department units responded to the scene.
