GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – AbleLight celebrated its newly relocated Thrift Shop on Friday morning with a ribbon-cutting event in partnership with the Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Located at 2269 True Lane, the new location continues the organization’s mission of providing services to empower those with developmental disabilities to succeed in life and in the communities they hail from.

The first 100 customers at the new location also received giveaway bags that contained items from multiple businesses nearby and around the area. The new location extends hours on Sundays and features a more convenient drop-off location for donations.
In addition, the store is now in a more established shopping district, providing better access and more visibility, and all proceeds go towards services for people with developmental disabilities.

Each store also reserves at least 25% of its positions for people with disabilities, encouraging job opportunities. The location is open on Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., with Sunday from noon until 4 p.m.
Donations are accepted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Saturday.
