LITTLE SUAMICO, Wis. (WFRV) – A quick response helped to mitigate the damage that could have resulted from a fully engulfed garage fire in Little Suamico late Thursday night.
Around 11:05 p.m. on September 4, crews with the Little Suamico Fire Department say they were called to the area of Lilly Road for reports of a garage fire that was threatening nearby structures.
Crews arrived to find the detached garage fully engulfed in flames with heavy fire showing on all sides.
The release credits a rapid response and coordinated efforts for bringing the fire under control quickly and providing protection to the nearby residence.
The fire was contained to the garage, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. No additional details were provided.
