SHIELDS, Wis. (WFRV) – An 18-year-old from central Wisconsin was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Saturday evening.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to County Road Q and Pit Road in the Town of Shields around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 6.
Based on an initial investigation, deputies say a car northbound on County Road Q left the road and crashed into several trees before stopping roughly 50 yards from the road in a heavily wooded area.
The 18-year-old driver from Watertown was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office. No additional details were provided.
