The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Good morning and happy gameday! If you are heading out to the morning tailgate or to watch the NFL Today show, expect plenty of sunshine with temperatures in the mid 50s.
However, this afternoon, we will see clouds increase a bit, but no rain is expected from those clouds today. A light northwest wind will keep highs in the upper 50s to low 60s up north, with mid 60s for the rest of us. Overall, beautiful football weather for all.
Tonight, skies will go clear and with a light wind, temperatures will tumble down into the upper 30s and low to mid 40s for the morning bus stop tomorrow. Patchy frost is certainly possible up north.
Besides the cool start to our day, tomorrow will be mostly sunny and turn of our winds to the southwest that will be breezy between 10-15mph will bring our highs up closer to average, topping out in the upper 60s to around 70.
An approaching front will warm us up on Tuesday into the low to mid 70s, but will also bring a chance for a few light rain showers, with the best chance for that bring up across the Northwoods in the afternoon.
A pretty quiet rest of our week takes hold with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Looking great when the Packers and Commanders kick off on Thursday. Kickoff temperature will be around 70 degrees.
