GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A popular Asian-inspired restaurant in Green Bay has expanded with a new location on the city’s east side.
The team behind The Eggroll Foodtruck Restaurant & Bar has officially opened Golden Thai Restaurant at 1742 E. Mason Street, Suite 3. The space, formerly Thong’s Authentic Restaurant, is tucked inside a small strip mall next to Fast and Easy Pawn Shop.

Golden Thai offers a variety of Asian dishes, including Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean-inspired options such as tacos, wraps, and fries. Signature entrées include Pad Thai, Korean Stir Fry Beef, Korean Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Cashew Chicken.

“We will be more focused on doing more Thai food,” the owners said. “We will still be doing a little of Korean and Vietnamese dishes, too.”
While the new space is smaller on the inside, the restaurant welcomes dine-in customers and also offers delivery through third-party services.
