GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Lambeau Field has many nicknames, and now a new one has made a leap into the lexicon for The Frozen Tundra.
On Wednesday, Governor Tony Evers and Travel Wisconsin designated Lambeau Field as the state’s 11th “Wonder of Wisconsin.”

Lambeau Field now joins 10 other Wisconsin destinations on the list that includes the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Devil’s Lake State Park, Eagle Tower, Grandad Bluff, Kohler-Andrae State Park, the Milwaukee Art Museum, Taliesin, Willow Falls, Witches Gulch, and Yerkes Observatory.
Lambeau is like a sanctuary—it’s a really special place. Especially for folks who’ve grown up here or visit Wisconsin, it’s extraordinary to be able to go to Lambeau and see it for yourself. It’s a place that means a lot to us here in Wisconsin. Lambeau is where legends and legacies have been born, countless memories have been made, history-defining coaches, players, and games have been played, and the best fans in the NFL cheer on their team. So, it’s only right that Lambeau Field here in Titletown be named an official Wonder of Wisconsin.
Gov. Tony Evers
The designation is part of Travel Wisconsin’s promotional campaign for tourism. The Wonders of Wisconsin list was launched in 2023.

Gov. Evers also mentioned that this year’s draft greatly enhanced Lambeau’s global reputation.
“Adding Lambeau to the list of must-visit sites in Wisconsin honors our proud history and traditions and is a recognition of everything Lambeau means to our state,” added Gov. Evers. “This is a great day to be a Wisconsinite and a Packers fan.”
