GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is continuing to give back to communities, with the second year of his 10ve for Cleats program underway.
The program is part of the 26-year-old QB’s Hands Of 10ve Foundation, which he started as a way to encourage youth sports participation while bringing awareness to mental health and suicide prevention and uniting law enforcement, being the son of a former police officer.
10ve for Cleats means that for every single touchdown Love scores, a youth sports team in Wisconsin will receive brand new cleats; however, it’s not just for Wisconsin this time, as the program is expanding to his hometown of Bakersfield, California.

Green Bay Southwest High School was the first team to receive brand new, free cleats through the program this year. Love said it was important for him to give back, especially because of his platform.
“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, I think it’s a cool opportunity that I have to give back,” Love said. “It’s all about the impact and being able to touch people’s lives.”
K-12 sports teams across Wisconsin and Bakersfield that wish to become a potential recipient of new cleats courtesy of Love’s program can apply here for a chance.
