MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southeast Wisconsin are investigating a disturbing case of child abuse and neglect after six children were found inside a storage unit early Tuesday morning.
The Milwaukee Police Department says officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to a report of children locked inside the unit. Inside, police discovered a two-month-old infant along with children ages 2, 3, 5, 7, and 9.

None of the children appeared to be injured. A 26-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were taken into custody in connection with the case.
The investigation is ongoing.
