KEWASKUM, Wis. (WFRV) – One firefighter was injured while battling a fire at a Kewaskum home that ended with all of the home’s residents being treated for smoke inhalation.
A Facebook post provided by the Kewaskum Police Department states that firefighters and first responders were called to the 500 block of Habeck Street on the morning of September 18.
Crews arrived to find flames coming from the exterior four-seasons room of the home. The fire had reportedly already spread into the home and the attic.

It was reported that one Kewaskum firefighter was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. All of the home’s occupants were also taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation.
Based on a preliminary investigation, it was an electrical fire that started in the four-seasons room. No additional details were provided.
