The Latest from Storm Team 5…
A few showers have flared up this afternoon up north and then along the lake boundary in portions of Door, Kewaunee and Manitowoc counties. Temperatures have ranged from the upper 60s up north to low 80s to the south.
For tonight, I’m expecting partly to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. While there is a chance for a stray shower, especially late, most should stay dry.
Tomorrow, while there is a chance for a stray shower throughout the day, once again, it looks like most of the day should be dry. Highs will range from the mid 60s to low 70s. Friday night lights games should be dry, but areas south and west of Appleton and Lake Winnebago might have a shower sneak in later in the game.
Scattered showers and a few storms likely roll in overnight Friday. Lows fall into the mid and upper 50s.
Saturday, temperatures once again will be back closer to average in the 60s to low 70s. In terms of rain chances, it will likely start off spotty in nature, however a better opportunity for scattered showers and storms moves in Saturday late PM, evening and overnight.
This pesky upper low will continue to keep a few showers in the forecast but temperatures should start to warm up a few degrees into the middle 70s. Sunday looks to be the driest day of the upcoming weekend. A few showers are possible especially for the first half of the day on Monday.
