GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A beloved breakfast place and staple of Green Bay was officially recognized and honored by state legislators on Friday morning.
The Pancake Place, which has been around for nearly half a century, earned commendation in the legislative record, State Representative Ryan Spaude and State Senator Jamie Wall handed owner Theresa Barlament an official plaque, recognizing the restaurant’s decades of service.

Barlament said it was an honor, and gave credit to the entire staff.
“I was honored when I saw the email,” Barlament said. “My team is amazing, they’re an extension of my family.”
Barlament and her husband, Kevin, purchased the restaurant 18 years ago, and has since earned over 50 community awards, with 16 straight ‘Best Breakfast’ titles.
