MERRIMAC, Wis. (WFRV) — A 43-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested Sunday for his sixth operating while intoxicated offense after a report of a suspected impaired motorcyclist.
According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 to a report of a suspected impaired driver operating a motorcycle in the village of Merrimac.

Deputies located the motorcycle and its operator at the Ferry Crossing Bar. The driver, identified as Trevor J. Cone, 43, of Merrimac, showed signs of impairment during their interaction with law enforcement.

Cone was asked to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested after deputies determined he was impaired.
As of noon on Sept. 22, Cone had not been formally charged. However, the sheriff’s office said charges are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office for OWI-sixth offense, operating after revocation (four or more), failure to install an ignition interlock device, possession of THC, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
