OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) — The Oshkosh Area School District Education Foundation is partnering again with Hoffmaster, which has committed $10,000 to support educational field trips for elementary students.
The funding will provide experiences that connect classroom learning to the wider world. Each of the eight participating OASD elementary schools will receive grant support designated this year for fifth-grade field trips.

“This ongoing partnership reflects our shared commitment to creating meaningful experiences for OASD students,” said Theresa Duren, director of the OASD Education Foundation. “Hoffmaster’s generosity makes it possible for students to explore, discover and learn in ways that stay with them long after the trip ends.”
Schools receiving funding are Emmeline Cook, Franklin, Jefferson, Menominee, Oaklawn, Read, Roosevelt, and Shapiro STEM Academy. The schools were selected based on the economic needs of their students and families.
Hoffmaster described the partnership as part of its broader commitment to the Oshkosh community.
“We’re proud to continue supporting the Education Foundation and helping create experiences that shape students’ learning and growth,” said Tober Moderson, division operations director and member of Hoffmaster’s corporate donation committee. “These field trips give students both education and fun, and we’re glad to be a part of that.”
With Hoffmaster’s continued support, hundreds of OASD students are expected to participate in field trips designed to inspire a lifelong love of learning.
