The Latest from Storm Team 5…
After a cloudy start, the sunshine appeared for most of us, with clouds holding steady up across the Northwoods courtesy of lake effect clouds off Lake Superior.
Tonight, expect clouds to build in during the overnight. A north wind will prevent widespread fog, but a few patches might form where the wind is light. Lows in the mid to upper 50s.
Plan on more clouds then sunshine tomorrow with a temperatures topping out a few degrees cooler due to that lack of sunshine. Highs will manage the mid to upper 60s. There is a chance for a stray lake effect showers for our lakeshore counties, but that is about it.
Thursday is looking nice with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low 70s.
A big ridge in our upper winds will begin to form and that will send highs 10 to 15 degrees above average for a number of days. Friday brings mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 70s. Full sunshine both days this weekend with highs in the mid to upper 70s. It will not be all that humid also.
