RANDOM LAKE, Wis. (WFRV) – A commercial printing company has announced it will permanently close its Random Lake facility, resulting in more than 100 layoffs.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Sheridan will shut down operations at 100 Industrial Avenue.

Company officials cited a significant downturn in business at the location as the reason for the closure.
The shutdown will result in the permanent layoff of 104 employees, including eight salaried and 96 hourly workers. Layoffs are scheduled to begin Nov. 21, 2025, and will take place in phases until the facility fully closes on Feb. 28, 2026.

Sheridan noted the facility is non-union and no interplant bumping rights are available.
This marks the fifth WARN notice submitted to the Department of Workforce Development in September.
