GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities are investigating after shots were fired on Green Bay’s east side early Tuesday morning, leaving property damaged but no reported injuries.
Police said the incident happened around 12:15 a.m. when officers were called to the 1100 block of Stuart Street for a suspicious situation. Several residents told officers they had heard gunfire before police arrived.

Officers located evidence of gunfire in the 1100 block of Stuart Street and the 200 block of South Roosevelt Street. Two vehicles nearby were also found with bullet holes.
During the investigation, officers saw a firearm inside a vehicle parked in a driveway on South Roosevelt Street. The vehicle was registered to a convicted felon. After obtaining a search warrant for the home, police said they found additional firearms and drugs.
A 23-year-old Green Bay man was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and booked into the Brown County Jail. A 22-year-old Green Bay woman was arrested for maintaining a drug trafficking place.

Police said it is not yet known whether the two individuals are connected to the shots fired incident.
