WAUKESHA, Wis. (WFRV) – The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department provided an update regarding a welfare check in a Waukesha home that resulted in the discovery of a dead body.
The updated release says that while the investigation is still underway, the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that two people were found dead inside the house.
Crews put out early morning fire at 16-unit apartment building in Manitowoc
The death investigation stems from a call on Friday around 9:44 a.m. requesting a welfare check on a family home in Waukesha. Deputies who responded found one resident dead. The locations of other family members are still unclear.
According to the updated release, a person of interest is in custody on separate charges.
