Police investigating shooting at Sheboygan’s End Park

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Sheboygan say they are investigating an early Sunday morning shooting incident at End Park.

According to a release from the Sheboygan Police Department, officers responded at 2:00 a.m. to the area of End Park on 1236 Bell Avenue for multiple reports of people hearing gunshots.

Once on the scene, officials say they did find a number of shell casings in the roadway around the park.

Police believe there was a disturbance between two groups and up to 20 people with at least two suspects firing a weapon. No one was reported to have gotten hurt in the incident.

At this time, there is said to be no danger to the public as the two groups in the disturbance are believed to be known to each other.

Officers say some of the suspects have been identified and they are continuing to attempt to locate and interview others who may have potentially been involved with the disturbance.
