EGG HARBOR, Wis. (WFRV) – The Village of Egg Harbor’s Board has delayed making a decision on whether to approve a proposed development at the Alpine Golf Course.
The owner of Alpine Golf Course is looking to reduce the 18-hole course to 9 holes and convert a portion of the property into residential housing. However, residents living near the course have voiced strong opposition to the proposal.

Chad Fradette, the project manager, explained that the development would include a mix of residential areas and a higher-end golf course, with plans to enhance the course by adding topsoil and creating a new island green.
After Wednesday’s meeting, council members decided they needed more time to review the plans, which had been approved by the village plan commission in a three-to-two vote last week.
